Biophilic Design

Biophilic design brings together nature and architecture to create living spaces that are inspiring and comforting. This approach to design allows residents to reconnect with all the elements of nature–earth, water and sky. The local hillside ecology and topography at Myst were studied extensively to design a master plan and residential structures that work effortlessly with their surroundings, while being environmentally-friendly.

The aim is to build an idyllic retreat that will create a profound sense of privacy, while living in close proximity to and in harmony with nature. Care has been taken to plant specific trees that attract wildlife which are rarely seen in everyday life. Even the lighting in the parks and walkways has been designed to minimise the disturbance to wildlife.
